The Moose rifle hunts start in mid October thru
to middle of November. The moose usually can be found around the
5000 foot elevation in their preferred habitat old cut blocks.
By this time of year we usually start to receive snow which
helps in spotting and tracking .Even though the rut is winding
down we are still quite successful in calling in the bulls.
Success has been good and the bulls have been averaging from
42'' To 52" in width. These hunts also take place
from one of the main camps where we will use 4x4 trucks or ATVs
to access the hunting areas. A good combo hunt combining Mule
Deer + Whitetail Deer.
