Elk has to be our premium
hunt. The West Kootenay produces the largest bulls in B.C.
These hunts have been very successful due to a high bull ratio
and hunting during the rut. There probably isn’t anything more
exciting than to bugle a 350+ bull into 50 yards or less. Our
past clients bulls have been scoring between 300 + 380 points.
These bulls have a lot of mass and it is quite common to take a
7 point or better bull. Hunts take place in September or October from one
of the main camps.
We will use 4x4 trucks or ATVs to access
the hunting areas.
