Grizzly bear hunting has to
be one of the most challenging , exciting and rewarding hunts
you will experience. If you have never taken a grizzly then you
need to take the opportunity to do so real soon . Our area
supports a good population of bears with most bear having the
true silver tip coats and average 6 1/2 to 8 1/2 ft .
Grizzly are regulated very conservatively in B.C. so we only
operate a couple hunts per season.
Hunting is conducted from
4x4 trucks, ATVs or on foot. Generally these hunts are not
real physical so most any hunter can come and have an enjoyable
hunt.
Spring Black hunts are one
of the most relaxing and enjoyable hunts you will experience. As
the green vegetation starts to grow at lower elevations bears
become abundant. By hunting and spotting clear cuts and river
bottoms good bears are produced averaging from 6 to 7 ft. Bears
range in color from black, blonde and cinnamon. Because of the
large bear population this area has a two bear limit. These
hunts are conducted from our comfortable main lodge with
the use of 4x4 trucks, ATVs and on foot. Black Bears may also be
hunted in the fall in conjunction with Mule Deer. Horses can be
used on fall hunts at clients request.
